Late summer Tango Woeekend on the Island of Werder Havel!

PROGRAM:

A relaxing weekend near Berlin, where lake view, pleasure and hospitality meet. And a good handfull of Tango!

For those arriving on Friday evening: we’ll have a glass of exquisite red wine or a pastis together in the French wine bar “Duval”, also on Werder Island, with live tango music, of course!

Classes start on Saturday, 2.09, in the morning in the prominent Schützenhaus on the island, the old town of Werder. The view from the first floor towards the Havel makes the learning sweeter, we will learn elements for a smooth night at the milonga.

During the relaxed lunch break you can discover the treasures of the island, the Regatta-Course, the Cafés, restaurants and Ice cream places.

In the afternoon we further learn and deepen our Tango. After class we invite you to an aperitif in the italian restaurant “Al Lago”, in the garten if the weather allows it. If you want you can join us for dinner also, to close the night among friends.

On Sunday morning we meet again to polish our Tango steps. After the free lunch break it is finally the moment to enjoy dancing. We prepared a guided Tango Salon Practica for you, and a Milonga open to external dancers, with a exibition by Lavinia and Chiche.

After so many beautiful moments and dances it is time to say goodbye, see you next time!

• Aperitivo in the Restaurant Al Lago saturday evening (starting ca. 19 hours)

The adress is: Uferstraße 10 14542 Werder (Havel).

The Island, the historical center of Werder an der Havel where we will be dancing is super easy to reach. You can park your car before the bridge or even on the Island, along the Uferstraße where the Schützenhaus is located. You can come by train to Werder Bahnhof and take the bus to the historical center.
