Tango Argentino in Berlin

Wellcome to Urquiza Tango Berlin!

We offer traditional Argentine Tango dance lessons, where you will not only learn to dance. The lessons are accompanied by the stories and tales of the old masters, which complement the lessons with the cultural and social background of Argentine Tango.

In addition to courses, workshops and private lessons, we regularly organize special events in Berlin such as our summer milongas and theater tango shows and performances. Have fun by tango!

YOUR TANGO COURSE IN BERLIN-PRENZLAUER BERG!

The autumn time starts! 🍁

Now it’s time to dance your way to happiness, discover new things, and deepen your tango skills in Berlin, the tango capital. Even more opportunities to learn and grow await you!

Here’s what you can expect:

• Sequential, clearly structured classes consisting of a 45-minute lesson combined with a 30-minute Práctica. The Práctica is attended by students from two different skill levels at the same time to encourage interaction and create an atmosphere that more closely resembles that of a milonga.
• Four skill levels; beginners can participate even without a partner.
• The course lasts 10 weeks and costs €190 per person.
• Discounts for people under 30 and for the unemployed.

Detailed videos featuring slow-motion footage, close-ups, and voice-over explanations tailored to your course level will help you continue learning between class sessions.

💃 „All You Can Dance“
Want even more tango? Then get in touch with us! With the “All You Can Dance” option, you can also join all classes, technique sessions, and prácticas—and take as many lessons as you’d like.

📅 Additional offerings

Starting September 30th, our “Práctica Antigua” begins—an exclusive training space dedicated to Gents. Reviving the 1940s tradition, participants will practice both leading and following. By experiencing how it feels to follow, you will gain a deeper understanding of connection and elevate your leading skills. The course takes place on Wednesdays from 8:45 pm to 10:00 pm.

Private classes for Tango in Berlin

Because of their personalized nature, private lessons offer the opportunity to make targeted progress—often much more quickly—and to develop your own authentic tango style.

Private lessons are especially valuable for beginners as well, as they provide a solid and efficient introduction to the movement principles of Argentine tango.

You’re welcome to book your private lesson with one instructor or with both instructors together. We’ll tailor the lesson to your specific goals, skill level, and needs. 💃🕺
