Práctica
The práctica is an important institution in the argentine tango culture. It functions as a place for exchange between teachers and students. A meeting place before the milonga to observe, to train, to experiment in order to deepen ones knowledge and abilities of Tango.
For many dancers In Buenos Aires the prácticas were the first contact with Tango and the elder generation.
The students of Salón Urquiza use the Prácticas to rehearse what they learned in the courses. Of course people who are not doing courses in Urquiza are also welcome to come if they want a relaxed atmosphere to meet and rehearse or to simply meet new people in the tango milieu.
